This is what I imagined Zack and Aerith's reunion kinda would've been like. I think the title and the images are pretty self-explanatory, but if you really don't get it (because of my horrible storytelling skills and lack of good transition between images), I'll tell you. 8D

The time is shortly after Aerith's death. She has just arrived in the Lifestream and is wandering around when she suddenly hears someone call out to her. A bit surprised, she turns to the direction of the voice and is greeted by a very familiar face. Long time no see, he tells her. Aerith becomes overwhelmed with emotions at this point: astonishment, relief, joy, nostalgia, perhaps even a bit of melancholy. As she tries to collect herself, a single tear makes its way down her face and she quietly replies with a wistful smile on her face, Yes, it has been.

Isn't it so sad? T_T They haven't seen each other in SEVEN years. It was probably harder on Aerith not knowing where Zack was rather than knowing that he was already dead. I wish I could've drawn Zack's full face, but this is my first time CGing (if you could call it that) and I didnt want people to compare my rendition of Zack to the real Zack. <_<; I don't think I would've been able to capture his handsomeness well anyway. There were a lot more panels initially, but the time and effort required to do them all was too much for me, so this is all I could do. It was tough and there were a lot of times when I just wanted to scrap this whole project, but I'm proud of myself that I finished. 8D
